Spiritual Practices and Conversations to ground us this election season. Whether we are feeling fearful, hopeful, a little bit of both, or something else entirely, there is so much to process as we prepare for election day. We are excited to provide space and time in community to help stay grounded this season through several centering sessions. Each session, we will gather with a spiritual practice (prayer, singing, etc), and have guided discussion to offer grounding throughout this election season. Sessions will be September 24, October 8, October 22 from 7-8pm. The Board of Congregational Care will also be offering a contemplative service (similar to Taize style) the evening before the election, Monday November 4. We hope you’ll join for any or all of these opportunities to keep our faith front and center in the midst of so much going on around us.
