What is a Meal Train?
It’s organized meal-giving. When someone from our congregation is in need, we all ask, “What can we do to help?” The answer is always . . .”Make a meal!” When we organize ourselves to make and deliver a series of meals, it’s a meal train.
Why mealtrain.com?
Mealtrain.com is an online service with tools like a shared Meal Train calendar and meal instructions. It’s a place to answer questions like: What does this person like? When are they available? What have they already had? Are there any allergies? And, when should I drop off a meal? Mealtrain.com makes it easy to sign up for a date and bring a meal.
How can I participate?
We have a family in need of meals very soon. To be included, contact Jenny Merriman ASAP. She’ll send you the unique web address that links you to this specific Meal Train, with further instructions. Not too many instructions though–it’s soooo easy!!!
