“The wolf will live with the lamb, the leopard will lie down with the goat, the calf and the lion and the yearling together; and a little child will lead them.” from Isaiah 11:1-10
Sunday, December 4, 10:15 a.m.
Does the world seem like a more divided place lately? With so much arguing, side-taking, and general anger in our midst, it’s hard to imagine peace will ever overcome our imperfect world. In this passage of Isaiah, we see a foreshadowing of the peace that is to come into the earth through Jesus. A peace so gentle and all-encompassing that even natural enemies (wolves and lambs) are living together in loving harmony. Join us this Sunday as Curt Preston asks, “How is Advent a vision of peace to come?”
