As many of you may already know, there is something new and exciting going on at Lakewood United Church of Christ – we are in the planning stages for a Ministry Expansion Campaign. This is a campaign to raise $375,000 in the next three years to pay off the church mortgage and restructure the church staff in order to hire an Associate Pastor. The goals are to eliminate debt and expand our ministry for the future.
The Ministry Expansion Campaign Committee is excited to begin this campaign and is working hard to develop informational materials and to kick off the campaign this month!
The Campaign Committee has met three times in the last month and with assistance from Capital Fundraising Executive Priscilla Bizer from the United Church of Christ and the church staff we have come up with a campaign logo, a contribution goal chart, and we are developing materials for the congregation outlining the details of the campaign.
