We are happy to announce that we have hired a new Finance Manager, Melissa Flores. Back in February Sandy Vanlerberghe had asked the church to work on finding her replacement. Melissa brings tremendous experience, energy, and passion to her work. We are thrilled to have her on the Lakewood UCC staff.
Originally from the desert southwest city of El Paso, Texas, Melissa has called Denver home for 20 years. With a degree in accounting from Metropolitan State University, she brings over 15 years of accounting/finance experience. When she is not crunching numbers, Melissa enjoys spending time with her wife, Monica, and their 5 furry children.
