Exodus 16:2-15
In today’s scripture, we return to Moses’ story within the greater Exodus story. The Israelite people have been liberated from enslavement in Egypt only to wander in the wilderness for years. They are tired, grumpy, and complaining. Moses and Aaron go to God with the complaints and God hears the people’s struggles and feeds them “manna from heaven”. As we live out what feels like our own wilderness wandering, can we hear the invitation to take our struggles and questions to God? What manna from heaven might God be providing in this wilderness time for us? Join us for virtual worship this Sunday as Rev. Mollie preaches on the holy practice of complaining to God and the abundance of manna in the wilderness.
