Isaiah 11:1-5
We begin a new liturgical church year with the start of Advent, the weeks and days of preparation and waiting for the birth of the Christ Child. This Advent, our theme is Unexpected, and we will look together, for God’s light and love in our world, through unexpected people, in unexpected ways, for unexpected means. This Sunday, we will light the first Advent candle of Hope and hear the words from the prophet Isaiah. Join us in worship as Rev. Mollie preaches on seeking and cultivating unexpected Hope.
