Isaiah 11:5-9
What is peace? What does it look like and what does it feel like? The Biblical understanding of peace is more than simply the absence of conflict, but rather a sense of right relationship, wholeness, and reconciliation. This Sunday we hear about the prophetic vision of the peaceable kingdom from Isaiah. If Isaiah can imagine a world where lions and lambs snuggle up together, what seemingly impossible reordering of the world can we imagine? Join us this Sunday as Pastor Curt preaches on shalom, shared visions, and peace in the most unexpected of places. Also, it’s a Communion Sunday.
