Luke 1:26-38
When Mary finds out from an angel that she is pregnant, “joy” is probably not on the list of emotions she was experiencing. She might have been terrified, angry, confused, or shocked. In fact, she probably felt all of this and more. But eventually, she comes to understand this unwanted and unexpected pregnancy will ultimately be good news, and not just for her. Have you ever had news thrust upon you that you didn’t want? Have you ever been angry or upset by how someone else’s choices impact your life? Has joy ever been the unanticipated outcome of a situation? Join us this Sunday as Pastor Curt preaches on Joy and how sometimes joy works its way into our hearts when we least expect it.
