Matthew 2:1-12
This Sunday we celebrate the arrival of the Wise Ones from the East as they travel to meet baby Jesus. Lots of jokes have been made about what they brought as gifts versus what would have actually been helpful. But the truth is, there really is no perfect gift for God in-the-flesh. Join us this Sunday as we celebrate Epiphany and Pastor Curt preaches on how sometimes the perfect gift is less about the gift itself and more about the intent of the giver.
This Sunday we will celebrate communion, please gather your communion elements for the service.
This Sunday we will celebrate Epiphany, marking the arrival of the Wise Ones to Jesus, Mary and Joseph. We are told they are led by a bright shining star, and we invite you to print and color this star for your own homes, as we reflect on this sacred story of journey and light.
