Care for Creation invites you to join us today, Wednesday, January 22nd from 6:30-8:00 pm in-person at Lakewood UCC and online to collaboratively envision a storytelling workshop focused on the theme of “Stories of Hope & Resilience in 2025.”
This week, we had Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Today we pause to remember and honor the legacies and ongoing call to action of Black freedom fighters and those of all races who came alongside in solidarity to work for the Beloved Community. Digging into our personal and collective stories will help us stay rooted and give us courage as we put our faith into action, lead with love, and care for creation in the many ways we are called as the Body of Christ in 2025 and beyond. We are fortunate to have our colleague, Maki Somosot (she/her) join us on Wednesday night and to facilitate the Sunday, March 30 12-2pm workshop (mark your calendars!).
We hope you’ll attend in-person as that’s the best way to get our collective creativity going!
However, if Zoom makes it possible for you to join, please click HERE for the link to join virtually.
