Sunday, April 3, 10:15 a.m.
“Now on that same day two of them were going to a village called Emmaus, about seven miles from Jerusalem, and talking with each other about all these things that had happened . . .”
from Luke 24:13-35
What do you do the day after? What do you do when you wake up in the morning, and, just for a moment, you think everything is alright? And then it all comes back to you. You remember everything. For the longest time you just lie there, staring at the ceiling. And then you do the only thing you can do. You get out of bed. You get on with your life. That’s what the two travelers on the road to Emmaus are doing: trying to put the pieces back together after the execution of Jesus. Join us on Sunday as Pastor Curt asks the same question they’re asking: “Now what?”
