“People of Athens…I walked around and looked carefully at your objects of worship, I even found an altar with this inscription: to an unknown god” from Acts 17:22-29
Back in the day of Paul, Athens was a bustling city where people of all different religious beliefs gathered. While teaching there, he noticed an altar dedicated, “To an unknown God.” He then tells the people about the God that he has come to know in Jesus Christ. How would you describe the God you know and worship? How do you live out your faith? What would you say if someone asked you, “why do you believe?” Join us this Sunday as Pastor Curt preaches on faith, doubt, and what it means to know God.
