This Sunday from 1:30-4:45 Lakewood UCC will be partnering with the Action Center to provide holiday meals for families in need. This event is not at the Action Center, but at Dennison Elementary.   If you would like to carpool, meet at Lakewood UCC at 1:00. Otherwise, all volunteers will park at Dennison Elementary, located behind the Jeffco Stadium. You will NOT be able to access parking from the Distribution entrance on Kipling.   Directions To Event and Parking: -Take Garrison Street south from Hwy 6 or north from Alameda -Turn west on 4th Ave -Follow signs to volunteer parking. -Dennison Elementary 401 Independence Street, Lakewood, 80226 -Follow signs to volunteer sign-in, in the cafeteria of Dennison Elementary School.  You will sign in, make your name tag, and join a quick volunteer orientation, where you will meet your Team Leader.   What to bring: -WE WILL BE OUTSIDE, rain, shine or snow!  Dress for winter conditions including warm layers, jacket, gloves, and hat. Fun costumes, Bronco’s colors and Thanksgiving gear welcome! -Water bottle and snacks -Comfortable closed-toe shoes -A toy donation for our Santa Shop if you are able to! (they especially need toys for kids age 8-12: remote control cars, makeup and craft kits, sports equipment etc.)   The Action Center is asking that all participants be at least 15 years old.   Please email Logan (loganleebennett@gmail.com) as soon as possible if you plan to attend.
