At church camp and during the Western Regional Youth Event, anytime a young person needs to go somewhere away from the group, they are asked to “take a buddy!” For safety, for caring, to learn from one another, to help one another be brave, going out into the world with a buddy seems like a great idea. Jesus sent the disciples out two by two in our Gospel reading for this Sunday. Beyond keeping one another company, what do we learn from going through this life with a buddy or buddies?
