Are you interested in joining the weekend mission trip to La Puente in Alamosa CO? Adults and youth 12 and older are encouraged to be part of this impactful trip. We’ll leave Friday, September 28 in the afternoon, returning Sunday, September 30 in the afternoon. La Puente is a non-profit that serves the San Luis Valley by providing food, shelter, and other assistance to those experiencing homelessness and community members in crisis. Our work will include gleaning, cooking at the shelter, and may include working in the food bank, the thrift store or their vegetable garden. Before we return, we’ll make our way to the Sand Dunes for some fun and devotions. Total estimated cost per person is $60 or less including lodging, food and transportation.
