This year we’ll be reading “Sabbath As Resistance; Saying ‘no’ in the Culture of Now” by Walter Bruggemann. This is a short but important book about what keeping sabbath looks like as 21st century Americans. While many of us have seen life “slow down” during the pandemic, we may not have thought intentionally about what resting means and how countercultural it really is. If you would like us to get you a copy of the book, please let Pastor Curt know and we’ll order you one. Click
