The Energy Efficiency Subcommittee of Care for Creation is actively investigating the possibility of installing solar panels and increasing the efficiency of any new HVAC equipment in the church facilities. Research into funding options is also part of our work. This group has also proposed replacing parking lot lights with LED downlighting in accordance with International Dark Sky (bird-friendly) requirements.
