Confirmation is a year of study and discernment to learn about the Bible, the Church, the United Church of Christ, and what it means to be a Christian in today’s world. In the spring, the confirmands will have the opportunity to decide if they would like to “be confirmed,” which includes publically affirming their baptism. Students not yet baptized will have the option of being baptized. Additionally, the confirmands will have the option of becoming members of Lakewood UCC. Please plan on attending the information session on October 9 following worship.
