Confirmation

2018-2019 is a Confirmation year for Lakewood United Church of Christ!  If you are 8th grade or older and interested in going through the Confirmation program, please let Rev. Mollie (mollie@lakewooducc.com) know. The class will generally meet two Sundays a month either from 11:30 am until 1:00 pm, or from 6:00-8pm. (There will be no YAC on the dates when we meet in the evening). In addition to these sessions, there will be a few Sunday morning church visits to congregations in our area to experience and explore a variety of worship service. There may be an opportunity to attend a Confirmation Retreat sometime in the spring. Confirmation in our tradition is an exploration of contemporary and historic Christian teachings, with a goal of each Confirmand developing and articulating their personal beliefs. Contact Rev.
